The outcome of this year’s Women’s World Cup has been absolutely astonishing and has most likely changed the women’s game and the perspective on it forever. Boundaries were pushed like never before and the athletes inspired everyone watching to dream big, chase your dreams and fight for what you deserve. But just as we were ready to celebrate the newly crowned World Champions – one man stole the show with his very questionable sideline behaviour. And this was unfortunately not the only occasion that distracted from the incredible on-pitch achievements and left many viewers in shock. In this episode, we will be discussing the incredible success of the tournament and addressing Spain’s historic win whilst taking a closer look at why some viewers may be somewhat torn about this triumph.
